Help for a family in Georgia

I read this article today and have decided to help this family whose difficult time was made even harder due to the greed and insensitivity of others. I would encourage you to offer what little bit of help you can. There is an email address to contact the family in this story. I'm sure they need all of the kind words, prayers and yes, financial support, that they can get.

Foreclosed family watches helplessly as craigslist crowds strip house bare
WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- A family in Woodstock, who just lost their home of 20 years to foreclosure and are preparing to move out, lost even more on Wednesday.
And it was because of what they triggered when they posted a craigslist ad Tuesday night.
Their online post was just a well-meaning ad for a giveaway in their driveway outside the small house, a giveaway scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
I am awaiting an email response from the family. So I can't say yet that I've been able to help them. But I pray that some of us might be able to make their situation a little less difficult. I know all of you will do what you can.

That is crazy! I have a minister friend in GA that I believe can organize some help. I am notifying him now. Thank you for bringing this horrible situation to light!

All I can say is thank you for stepping forward to help this family.

I know how it feels to loose a home of 20yrs or so. We just lost the home we were living in to a church that felt that told us in the beginning they did not need our property. So we thought we were ok. Helped the neighbor who was given over a year notice to find a place and move. They were able to find a home and able to go through their 17 yrs of life and move. Well, after they moved and the church started to work out their construction plans to rebuild the church, they decided that they wanted our property.. Mind you they did not need it, they wanted it. So the got ahold of our landlord made a deal and we found out by receiving a 30 day notice to find a place to move 20 yrs of life. I raised my daughters here.. One of my daughters took over because I couldn't find work so her fiance' and my daughter took over the household bills.

Anyway, my daughter found a place only it less than half of what we had in space. And I was told it isn't your home, your only staying with us. So with that, I would say 85% of my life was left behind.
found one that is for the people.

I have a roof over my head, that I am blessed with. Still, I miss alot of what I owned. I know how hard it is to adjust to something new and not having tools you once had to do this job or fix that.. now a new one has to be bought to do the fixin..

I hope this family is doing ok and I pray for a blessing for the coming year that they are able to work through the losses to rebuild a new life..

Every kind of philanthropy work all over the World is something what will never die.Human race are all
like brothers and sisters and we ought to help each others.I am suffering from osteo arthritis and Lupus and I am disabled to go from home to work.I am working from home for web site PayoutClub.com read mails for to be payed. If I have $399 to pay fee for gold membership than I will got my earned $20.000.But I still can
not find a person who will borrow me so much money at cash.If I got luck and if I will be awarded from Giving Away Free Money I will share my money with those who
are without any money and that`s how money goes always where it has to be spread - helping and giving to someone who is in not good life situation. That
is the one of the reason of our
doing and giving hope to make anyone to be happy and to survive with help from human to human.Doing always positive things, giving gifts to one who we
love.

My heart goes out to this family. To lose everything because of the greed of others is sickening. Those people who took all their things acted like a bunch of starving Hyenas preying on a crippled Zebra. May that family get back on their feet and may they know that God has a plan in mind for all of us and that He is watching over them and will bless them and take care of them in their time of need.

That is absolutely heartbreaking. I dont have much but I am willing to help others no matter what little I can do. Even if that just means helping them make a phone call they are afraid to place, making room at my table so they may eat or giving them a place to stay in a time of need:(

I hope this family received the help they needed I just saw this and wish I had seen it much sooner:( I try to do what I can even if it is just a meal or a bed for a few nights....
