$100 to one lucky visitor

I have sent a money order for $100.00 to one wonderful visitor from San Diego who has asked me not to share his/her name on this blog.

They asked for help with this month's car payment and hopefully an extra hundred dollars will help a bit.

I appreciate everyone's requests and will continue to try to answer them as often as possible.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Free Monopoly codes at McDonald's

I know this isn't exactly the best fit with this blog, but I figured some of you might appreciate it. I've found 3 free multi user codes for use in McDonald's Monopoly game that is going on right now.

I know giving away money is better - and I will be giving away more this week - but if you play the Monopoly game at McDonald's like me, you might want to try these codes. They worked for me and seem to work for anyone who tries them.

good luck.

It's been a long time, but I'm sending more money out to a friend in Texas this week

It's been more than a month since I gave out money to a deserving individual. I apologize for being gone so long. I've read a lot of emails from a lot of nice people who I'd like to help.

To get back into the swing of things, I'm sending $50 to Tom from Dallas, Texas. Tom apparently has an issue with fire ants and would like to hire someone to get rid of them. I always thought fire ants were a Florida problem but apparently they're living and biting all over the southern United States.

Okay Tom. Good luck with the little buggers. Consider going with an organic pesticide to be considerate of the environment.

For everone else...please continue to send your letters. I'll respond to them as soon as I can, and I hope to continue to give away more money very soon.

Lots of visitors lately. How are you finding my site?

I've had record numbers of visitors to the site lately - such as Monica of Port Clinton, Ohio. I sent Monica a money order for $75 to help with the cost of gas, which remains quite high despite dipping under $4.00 a gallon recently.

The problem is, my statistical tracking software isn't telling me where most of the visitors are finding this blog and this site.

As a small favor, I'm asking my visitors to let me know where they're finding the links to this site...did you use a search engine like MSN, Yahoo or Google? Are you finding it on a blogging site? Or are you learning about this page through friends and word of mouth?

If you want to share this info with me, just drop me a line or post a quick note on the comments section of this blog. Your help will be greatly appreciated and will really help me in getting the word out about this very fun website.

Thanks!

5 bucks, 5 bucks, 5 bucks, 5 bucks

I gave away a total of $20 yesterday to four different people. It doesn't seem like much. But when it's free, it's free.

$5 to Tammy of Newton Falls, Ohio.
$5 to James from Devonshire, Bermuda.
$5 to Alli of Chicago.
$5 to James from Tampa, Fla.

I'm going to continue to make an effort to send out more cash and money orders in the coming weeks and months on a more consistent basis and in larger amounts.

Please continue with your requests. Understand that I get hundreds of them and cannot always follow up personally to each one.

Thanks again.

$20 for gas money to a student in Los Angeles, Ca.

I got a letter last week from Michelle B. who is 17 and lives near Los Angeles, Ca. She is getting ready to start college (do 17 year olds really go to college???) and said she could use some gas money or some cash for other expenses.

I was impressed that she was pursuing higher education, so I am mailing her a $20 money order that she can use for food, entertainment or gasoline for her car.

Good luck at school, Michelle!

August 6...nice day for a giveaway

It's just a great day. So I decided to send $120 to Mick from Vermont. He needs to pay his electric bill and his water bill.

I just wish my electric bill was only $120! Does anyone know a good way to save money when you're running air conditioners in the summer????

Anyway, check back tomorrow, and keep the emails coming. You never know when I'll decide to give away more cash.

Today I sent out a money order for $25 to a Michelle C. from Iowa which she said she plans to spend on lottery tickets.

Have fun Michelle. I hope you can turn that $25 into a million!

Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky????

Spring is almost here

It's almost spring time...baseball season...Easter...better weather. I'm looking forward to it and I hope you are too.

To celebrate my good mood today, I just sent an international money order for $350.00 to Susan V. of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Susan said this money will come in handy for remodeling her house with her husband when the weather gets a little warmer.

Susan, enjoy the springtime. It will be here before we know it!

If you'd like to ask for money, just email me and let me know what you need.

Happy Valentine's Day

Mark from Portland, Maine wanted to buy his wife something special for Valentine's Day. To help him in his efforts to get the perfect gift, I just sent him a check for $50.

It might not be enough to buy a new diamond necklace, but it could cover the cost of a nice dinner or a really great bunch of roses delivered to her by surprise at work.

Love is in the air Mark. I hope your V-Day was wonderful.

If you'd like to ask for money, just email me and let me know what you need.

It's been a while

It's been quite a long time since I've sent money to anyone. But I'm in a giving mood right now and plan to send out several payments this month. So get those requests rolling in.

Today, I'm sending $250 to Mike C. from Athens, Ohio for college textbook expenses. He works a part time job on the Ohio University campus and pays most of his tuition out of pocket. This gift should help repay the credit card bill he incurred buying a couple books last month.

Good luck Mike.
