I think 800 dollars officially qualifies as the largest gift I've given out on this site in more than four years of giving. I don't share this to brag or to congratulate myself. It's just nice to know that someone is really being helped out in a big way thanks to this web site. That's my whole reason for doing it.
Jennifer from someplace in the eastern United States (sorry, she asked me to keep her identity anonymous) will receive $800 to cover her rent and utilities for the month of September.Times have been extremely difficult for Jennifer and her family and they've struggled to stay in their apartment and keep the lights on.
I've been there too Jennifer. So when I read your letter, it really hit close to home for me.
Jennifer is employed full time. But it's still tough to support a family and make ends meet, especially if unexpected expenses pop up.
I think this gift will give you a little extra footing, Jennifer, and hopefully will get you and your family back on track.
As always, I'd like to thank each and every person who sent their request to me in the past few weeks. I want to reply to all of you. But it's increasingly difficult to reply to every letter. So forgive me if you haven't gotten a personal response just yet. I don't want to resort to sending out impersonal "auto responses" to emails. So I'll simply continue to respond in writing to as many people as possible. And of course, this site's mission to help others and make a few lives a little happier will continue. I hope to continue sharing my good fortune for a long time to come.

ReplyDeleteSo I sucked it up and went to food pantries and saved the only 20 dollars that i physically get from my check each month for Christmas Dinner for my children. I didnt want them to have to eat at a shelter on Christmas. Well I had a wonderful women give me a number to call and they called my doctors and then she collected over 3000 dollars to be given to me 2 weeks before Christmas so I could 4 angels some gifts. The person she hired she had ran an FBI background check on took off with all the money he was to deliver and has not been found. My children didn't even come at Christmas and they wont even call Moms a broke criminal. That cant afford a card, a taxi, a phone. I do have a lifeline phone I try to call but I can only leave one or two voice mails and I am out of minutes, Just 250 a month and no free nights or weekends with the doctor calls they eat them and their still hope in my heart for that bone marrow transplant! Wouldn't it be great to feel great again! Money doesn't solve any of these problems but my 4 miracles do Its like God gave me that first one so she could give then to me eternally. ReplyDeleteI am one of the few nice poeple, who myself help animals and others, and I believe that if tou are giving others money to help them that your somewhat like a Guardian Angel to those to whom you give. Whether the gift be a small one or a large one everyone need a Guardian Angel on their shoulders.

ReplyDeleteGod bless you. I have to stay positive that my fiancé comes home soon. I have learned in my life that we should never wait on the "white knight" you sir, madame, whomever you may be are truly an angel and when I am in your position someday, I vow to do the same and help as many people as I can, I've always said I would buy a hotel and turn it into appartments for the homeless, without an address it's hard to get help.

ReplyDeleteWhere are all the people who received money from this person? I don't see any of them here on the comment page saying thank you for the money! Not a single one ! Are people really that ungrateful ? Or could this be a scam of some type ? I believe that there are people in the world who just want to help... I would like to believe that this site has been created by one of those people. It would be easier to believe if the comment section was full of commenters saying "wow, thank you for the money!" But all I see are a lot of really hopeful (and some desperate) people. I just hope these people will not be too disappointed or even devastated when/if the money does not come through for them. If people are really being helped by this person, then where are you? Why are you not posting messages saying thank you repeatedly to this generous soul? Shame on anyone who has received money from this person, and not taken the time to write a comment saying thank you ! If this is a scam, then shame on you, the author, for getting desperate peoples' hopes up. If it is not a scam, then bless you for giving people help and hope.
